It is a condition of the service waiver that the approved provider must utilise 76.44m² of alternative space in Outdoor Play 2, located on the ground level, to satisfy part of the unencumbered outdoor space requirements.

The approved provider is required to install gardens beds in Outdoor Play 1 and Outdoor Play 3, with an adequate amount of healthy live plants in a variety of species, to the satisfaction of the Regulatory Authority, by 4 December 2023. This is to afford children opportunities to explore and experience the features of a natural environment as required under Regulation 113 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations.

The service is approved to provide education and care to no more than 10 school children.

It is a condition of this service approval that the mirrors and CCTV installed at the service are constantly maintained and operational to ensure the facilitation of adequate supervision of children at all times they are being educated and cared for at the service, having regard to the need to maintain the rights and dignity of the children as required under regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations.

The approved provider must not educate and care for more than 4 infants under 6 months of age at any one time.

At least 1 additional staff member, in addition to the number required to meet the educator to child ratios, must be available at all times education and care is provided to infants to assist children in evacuating the service during rehearsals and in the event of an emergency.

The approved provider must ensure that a cot is available to each child whose developmental needs require the use of a cot.

The mirrors installed at the service within the children’s indoor and outdoor spaces are to be constantly maintained and operational to ensure the facilitation of adequate supervision of children at all times they are being educated and cared for at the service, having regard to the need to maintain the rights and dignity of the children as required under regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations.

The Approved Provider must ensure an adequate amount of healthy live plants in a variety of species and sizes is maintained at all times, in the children’s outdoor play areas within the service premise, ensuring children are afforded opportunities to explore and experience the features of a natural environment as required under regulation 113 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations.

The service must comply with regulation 110 of the National Regulations in relation to the enclosed outdoor spaces (service waiver condition).

The fans and air conditioning units located in Playground B (as identified on DET plans dated 8 October 2019), must be maintained and operational to ensure that the room is well ventilated and maintained at a temperature ensuring the health and wellbeing of children (service waiver condition).

The service must comply with regulation 113 of the National Regulations in relation to the enclosed outdoor spaces (service waiver condition).

The Approved Provider must ensure that the mirrors and video monitor installed at the service are constantly maintained and operational. This is to ensure the facilitation of adequate supervision of children at all times they are being educated and cared for at the service, having regard to the need to maintain the rights and dignity of the children as required under regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations.

A copy of the annual evacuation outcome report, including any recommendations for actioning is to be supplied to the Regional Office of the Regulatory Authority in which the service is located within 7 days upon receipt of the report by the Approved Provider from the licensed organisation.

The Approved Provider must not educate and care for more than 24 non-ambulant infants at any one time and the non-ambulant infants must be educated and cared for only on the Lower Ground level.

The Approved Provider must ensure at least one additional staff member, in addition to the number required to meet the educator to child ratios, must be available at all times education and care is provided to undertake the Chief Warden role and responsibilities for any emergency and evacuation.

The Approved Provider must ensure that no outdoor play equipment is placed within one metre of the perimeter fencing of any children's outdoor play space.

Plants and vegetation located along or near the boundary fencing of the children’s outdoor play area located on the basement level are to be monitored by the Approved Provider regularly and any unacceptable risks posed by potential climbing hazards must be addressed immediately by the Approved Provider.

The Approved Provider must ensure that the mirrors, CCTV and monitors installed at the service are constantly maintained and operational to ensure the facilitation of adequate supervision of children at all times they are being educated and cared for at the service, having regard to the need to maintain the rights and dignity of the children as required under regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations.

As part of the requirement to conduct three (3) monthly emergency and evacuation procedures rehearsals in accordance with regulation 97(3) of the National Regulations, the Approved Provider must engage an appropriate expert such as a person/service provider in emergency procedures, a fire safety advisor or fire safety engineer to observe and report on one rehearsal (including any proposed actions to improve evacuation procedures) at least annually by the end of November.

It is a condition of the service waiver that the service must comply with regulation 110 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations in relation to the enclosed outdoor space.

It is a condition of the service waiver that the service must comply with regulation 113 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations in relation to the enclosed outdoor space.

This service is not approved to provide education and care to school children.

The mirrors and walkie talkies in use at the service are constantly maintained and operational to ensure the facilitation of supervision of children at all times they are being educated and cared for at the service, having regard to the need to maintain the rights and dignity of the children as required under regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations.

The service is approved to provide education and care to children from birth up to and including over preschool age.

The mirrors installed at the service are constantly maintained and operational to ensure the facilitation of supervision of children at all times they are being educated and cared for at the service, having regard to the need to maintain the rights and dignity of the children as required under regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations.

The Approved Provider must not provide education and care for more than 16 non-ambulant infants on the ground level at the service.

At least two additional staff members not including the Building Chief Warden, in addition to the number required to meet the educator to child ratios, must be available whenever education and care is provided to children at the premise and must assist non-ambulant children to evacuate the service for any rehearsal and in the event of an emergency.

The mirrors installed at the service are constantly maintained and operational to ensure the facilitation of adequate supervision of children at all times they are being educated and cared for at the service, having regard to the need to maintain the rights and dignity of the children as required under regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations.

The Approved Provider must ensure an adequate amount of healthy live plants in a variety of species and sizes is maintained at all times, in the children’s outdoor play areas across all four levels of the service premises, ensuring children are afforded opportunities to explore and experience the features of a natural environment as required under regulation 113 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations.

The service must comply with regulation 110 of the National Regulations in relation to the enclosed outdoor space (service waiver condition).

The Approved Provider must ensure that the mirrors, CCTV cameras and monitors installed at the service are constantly maintained and operational to ensure the facilitation of adequate supervision of children at all times they are being educated and cared for at the service, having regard to the need to maintain the rights and dignity of the children as required under regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations

The service is approved to operate with a maximum number of 127 children while the conditions of the service waivers dated 27 July 2022 and 15 August 2023 are in effect:
• It is a condition of the service waiver that the Approved Provider may utilise 328m2 of alternate means space on the upper level, and 315m2 of alternate means space on the lower level, to satisfy part of the unencumbered outdoor space measurements.
•It is a condition of the service waiver that the Approved Provider must ensure the upper and lower level alternate means space allows children to explore and experience the natural environment (including natural vegetation).

The Approved Provider must ensure that the mirrors and CCTV and monitors installed at the service are constantly maintained and operational. This is to ensure the facilitation of adequate supervision of children at all times they are being educated and cared for at the service, having regard to the need to maintain the rights and dignity of the children as required under regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations.

It is a condition of the service waiver that the Approved Provider may utilise 130.45m2 of alternative means space on the first floor to satisfy part of the unencumbered outdoor space requirements.

It is a condition of the service waiver that the approved provider must ensure that an adequate amount of healthy, live plants in a variety of species and sizes is maintained at all times, in both the actual children’s outdoor areas and the children’s covered play areas of the service premises. This is to ensure children are afforded adequate opportunities to explore and experience the natural environment as required under Regulation 113 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations (service waiver condition).

The Approved Provider must ensure that the mirrors, CCTV camera and monitor installed at the service are constantly maintained and operational. This is to ensure the facilitation of adequate supervision of children at all times they are being educated and cared for at the service, having regard to the need to maintain the rights and dignity of the children as required under regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations.

The Approved Provider must ensure that the mirrors, CCTV cameras and monitors installed at the service are constantly maintained and operational. This is to ensure the facilitation of adequate supervision of children at all times they are being educated and cared for at the service, having regard to the need to maintain the rights and dignity of the children as required under regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations.

The Approved Provider must ensure that the mirrors, CCTV cameras and monitors installed at the service are constantly maintained and operational to ensure the facilitation of adequate supervision of children at all times they are being educated and cared for at the service, having regard to the need to maintain the rights and dignity of the children as required under regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations.

This service is approved to provide education and care to children from birth up to and including preschool age. 
The service is not approved to provide education and care to school children

The Approved Provider for this service must not provide education and care for more than sixteen (16) non-ambulant infants at any one time, on level one (1).

The Approved Provider must not provide education and care to non-ambulant infants on level two (2) or level three (3).

The Approved Provider is required to ensure that an additional staff member at a ratio of one (1) to eight (8) non-ambulant infants, in addition to the number required to meet the educator to child ratios, must be available whenever education and care is provided and must assist in evacuating non-ambulant infants from the service during rehearsals and in the event of an emergency.

The Approved Provider must ensure that no furniture or play equipment is placed within one (1) metre of the perimeter fencing of the children’s outdoor play space on level three (3).

The service must have at least seven (7) square metres of combined actual outdoor and enclosed outdoor space for each child being educated and cared for (service waiver condition).

To ensure ongoing compliance with natural environment requirements under regulation 113 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations, the service is required to maintain or increase the current number of healthy live plants in a variety of species and sizes in the enclosed outdoor space of the premises (service waiver condition).

A copy of the annual evacuation outcome report, including any recommendations for actioning is to be supplied to the Regional Office of the Regulatory Authority in which the service is located within seven (7) days upon receipt of the report by the Approved Provider.

As part of the requirement to conduct three (3) monthly emergency and evacuation procedures rehearsals in accordance with regulation 97(3) of the National Regulations, the Approved Provider must engage an appropriate expert in emergency procedures, a fire safety advisor or fire safety engineer to observe and report on one rehearsal (including any proposed actions to improve evacuation procedures) at least annually by the end of October.

The approved provider must ensure there is a minimum of three (3) educators, engaged and present to provide supervision in Outdoor Play 2 at any time children are utilising that outdoor play space.  A minimum of two (2) of these educators must remain in Outdoor Play 2 at all times, to ensure adequate supervision, while other educators assist children to access amenities.

The approved provider must ensure that no more than 59 children are educated and cared for at the service at any one time, until a time determined by the Regulatory Authority whereby the service is demonstrating voluntary compliance with the National Quality Framework.
